Speaking of mussels, if you want to taste an authentic taste of the Bah Amish culinary tradition, the Bahuian Cookin'at Trinity Place is a must - visit it. It is served with fresh, local ingredients such as pineapple, mango, pineapple juice, coconut milk and coconut cream.
Here you will find a colourful restaurant and café serving a variety of Bahamian dishes such as cracked mussels, mackerel, oysters, shrimp and much more. To get even a hint of Caribbean, it is important to have fresh fish with your stew. Most restaurants specialize in fresh seafood, especially snappers and groupers, but most Nassau restaurants serve freshly caught snappers. There are some places with fresh shells and several offer to order versions of their typical dishes.
